A bit about me

Hi, I'm Aadi, a biology student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst with interests in biotechnology, bioinformatics, and the use of computational tools to study biological questions. My experience includes both laboratory and computational research, ranging from mammalian cell culture and molecular biology techniques to biological data analysis and protein language models.

I am especially interested in research at the intersection of biology and technology. My recent work has included an independent project evaluating whether a protein language model can identify clinically important mutations in the TP53 tumor suppressor protein, as well as research involving cellular imaging, nuclear structure, and biomedical image analysis.

Outside of academia, I'm very into athletics and cooking. I play tennis, basketball, and golf, and I'm currently training for a marathon in October. I also love to cook, with my favorite cuisine being Mediterranean food and my signature dish being shawarma wraps.
